Objetivo
A Universidade de Manchester realizará um workshop acadêmico para o projeto de pesquisa Inovação para a Criação de Valor Sustentável: Compreendendo as Cadeias Globais de Valor na Amazônia, parte da Iniciativa Amazônia+10. Este projeto reúne acadêmicos da UoM com colegas de diversas universidades brasileiras. O projeto se concentra nos desafios da sustentabilidade em cadeias de valor globais e locais da região amazônica brasileira, e busca identificar estratégias inovadoras que promovam o desenvolvimento sustentável nos setores de cosméticos, pesca e carne bovina. O objetivo do workshop é fornecer feedback crítico e construtivo sobre os artigos de pesquisa do projeto e identificar potenciais estratégias de publicação, incluindo contribuições para possíveis publicações em periódicos.
