Laura Chein Portela
Biografia
Master’s student in the Academic Master's Program in Public Administration and Government at the Getulio Vargas Foundation in São Paulo (FGV EAESP), and holds a bachelor's degree in Public Administration and Government from the same institution. Her main research topics include climate change, climate adaptation, urban and metropolitan policy, urban resilience, municipal institutional capacities, and climate policy. At FGVces, she works on research focused on climate adaptation and resilience, disaster risk management, and Nature-Based Solutions, in partnership with national and local governments. Previously at FGVces, she served as a research resident in the Sustainability in Value Chains and Adapta programs. In her master's research, she investigates how Indigenous communities in Brazil have been adapting to climate change.
