Entrepreneurship and Innovation

Opening of the São Paulo School of Business Administration (FGV EAESP)
1955
Inauguration of the first Business Administration Course in Brazil (CGAE)
1959
Foundation of the Research and Publications Center.
1961
Foundation of the Revista de Administração de Empresas (RAE) [Business Administration Journal], the first Brazilian scientific journal in the field, which has been published continuously since its launch.
1965
Establishment of the FGV EAESP Scholarship Fund.
1966
Launch of the Executive Graduate Program in Business Administration.
1967
Inauguration of the School's new headquarters, near Paulista Avenue.
Creation of the Internship and Career Placement Coordination Office, currently incorporated into the School's Career Center.
1969
Creation of the Undergraduate Course in Public Administration (CGAP)

Creation of the Continuing Education Program.

Creation of a new undergraduate course in Public Administration. Implementation of the International Advisory Board. Membership of the International Partnership of Business Schools (IPBS) and the Global Network for Advanced Management (GNAM).
2013
The Doctorate in Business Administration receives the highest rating from CAPES.
2014
FGV EAESP celebrates its 60th anniversary by organizing several events, such as the eighth Iberoamerican Academy Conference (IAM) and the first EFMD Global Network Americas Annual Conference.
2015
Launch of the Business Administration Undergraduate Program with classes taught entirely in English.

Launch of the Professional Master's Degree in Management for Competitiveness, with four tracks: Finance and Controllership, Health Management, Sustainability, and Retail.
Launch of the Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA) program, the first in Brazil.
2017
Doctorate in Business Administration receives top marks from CAPES.
Launch of Supply Chain Management and IT research lines at MPGC.
2018
Launch of a class for the Evening Business Administration Degree Program.
2019
Launch of the People Management track in the Professional Master's Degree in Management for Competitiveness (MPGC).
2020
FGV EAESP has its international accreditation of excellence renewed by AACSB
2021
All FGV schools achieved the highest score: five, in the 2019 IGC results, and the top three in the ranking were from FGV. EAESP is the first school in Latin America to receive international recognition for its impact on society - BSIS and PRME.
2024
The São Paulo School of Business Administration expands its facilities with the new Professor Antonio Angarita Building.

Diversity Coordination
The Diversity Office was established with the purpose of fostering and leading initiatives aimed at enhancing diversity at FGV EAESP. With a cross-cutting approach, it engages staff, students, alumni, and faculty members from all programs and departments of the School, promoting actions that strengthen inclusion and representation across the entire academic community. The Office works in partnership with collectives and initiatives dedicated to promoting diversity, such as the Feminist Collective Candances, the Black Students’ Collective, the FGV Preparatory Course, and the Scholarship Holders Group, among others.
