Jolemia Chagas

Holds a Master's in Tropical Agronomy and a Bachelor's in Agricultural Sciences from the Federal University of Amazonas (UFAM). Serves as a coordinator for the Transdisciplinary Amazon Network (RETA) and collaborates with the Center for Amazonian Ethnoecology (NETNO/UFAM). Experienced in Amazonian family agroecosystems, with a focus on agrobiodiversity conservation. Conducted research titled “Environmental Coupling and Conservation in Family Agroecosystems of the Manicoré River, Amazonas.” Skilled in developing management plans, community strengthening, methodological procedures, and preparing Consultation Protocols. Currently, she is part of the Local Development Program (DL) at the Center for Sustainability Studies (FGVces).
