Graziela Azevedo

Doctoral candidate and Master's graduate in Public Administration from FGV EAESP, with a focus on local development, conflicts, and social participation. She began working in the socio-environmental field 15 years ago, developing consulting projects for NGOs. She was a project coordinator at the Jatobás Institute and facilitated ATMA, a conflict transformation program based on anthroposophy, Theory U, and restorative justice. As a researcher in the Local Development Program at FGVces, she worked on the "Juruti Indicators" project and conducted research on participation and empowerment. She was part of the team responsible for developing the "Belo Monte Indicators," living in Altamira/PA for 18 months. She also served for three years as the executive secretary of the initiative "Large Infrastructure Projects in the Amazon: Lessons Learned and Guidelines," a partnership with the IFC/World Bank. Since 2018, she has been part of the research team at FGVces in the Rio Doce Project. Meditation, yoga, and dance play a central role in her life.
