Carina Gomes

Holds a doctorate in Environmental Engineering Sciences from the School of Engineering of São Carlos (EESC-USP) and a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Management from the School of Arts, Sciences, and Humanities (EACH-USP). During her graduate studies, her research focused on studying territories impacted by hydroelectric plants and their relationship with local development. She has worked as a research assistant on various studies, both within and outside the university, and served as an environmental management analyst for an NGO in Mato Grosso.
