Biografia

He holds a degree in Agronomy from the Federal University of Viçosa (1997), a doctorate in Applied Economics from the Federal University of Viçosa (2002) and a post-doctorate degree from the MIT Joint Program on the Science and Policy of Global Change (2007-2008). Adjunct Professor of the School of Economics of São Paulo at the Getúlio Vargas Foundation (EESP-FGV), and also a coordinator of the Professional Master's Degree in Agribusiness. He is a professor at the Economics Department of the Faculty of Economics, Administration and Accounting of Ribeirão Preto (FEA-RP/USP). He is experienced in economics, with emphasis on agribusiness economics, commercial policy and atmosphere change, working mainly on the following topics: general balance modeling, trade policy, atmosphere policy, biofuels and land use changes.
