Biografia

She is Full Professor at FGV EAESP and Director of the FGV Innovation Research Center (FGVin). She teaches in the undergraduate and graduate programs of the School and conducts research in the areas of sustainability, innovation, circular economy, resilience, and supply chain management.
 

Currently, she serves as Innovation Coordinator and Coordinator of the Institutions for Innovation Research Group at FGV Earth – Center for Research and Innovation on Global Environmental Governance (CEPID), Platform Coordinator and researcher at GVCelog, and Partnership Coordinator and Coordinator of Platform 1 — Management and Innovation for the Circular Economy in Organizations and Supply Chains — at CCD Circula. She also serves as Principal Investigator of the FAPESP Thematic Project Ecosystem and Social Inclusion Platform (CESIP).
 

At FGV EAESP, she previously served as Head of the Department of Production and Operations Management, Research Line Leader in Operations and Sustainability Management in the Academic Master’s and Doctoral Program, Course Leader for Operations Management in the undergraduate Business Administration program, and member of the Quality Assurance Evaluation Committee.
 

She holds a degree in Civil Engineering from Universidade Federal de Mato Grosso do Sul, a Master’s degree from University of Birmingham, and a PhD in Business Administration from Fundação Getulio Vargas. She was also a Visiting Scholar at George Washington University.
 

She has been a Research Productivity Fellow of the Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico(CNPq) since 2021. She currently serves as Scientific Director of the Brazilian Academy of Management (ANPAD) for the 2024–2026 term and President of the Business Association of Latin American Studies (BALAS). She is also a member of the Fiscal and Advisory Board of the Casa de Assistência Filadélfia (CAF).
 

Before pursuing a full-time academic career, she worked for approximately 15 years as a consultant in process management and design, service design, quality management, logistics, and supply network design.
 

She is the author of articles published in leading international journals in the fields of Management and Operations Management, including Journal of Operations Management (JOM), International Journal of Operations & Production Management (IJOPM), Supply Chain Management: An International Journal (SCMIJ), International Journal of Production Research (IJPR), Production Planning & Control (PPC), Journal of Purchasing and Supply Management, and Business Strategy and the Environment (BSE). She also publishes in leading Brazilian academic journals such as Revista de Administração de Empresas (RAE), Revista de Administração da USP (RAUSP), Revista de Administração Contemporânea (RAC), and GV Executivo.
 

She also serves as editor and reviewer for national and international scientific journals. Currently, she is Associate Editor of the International Journal of Operations & Production Management (IJOPM) and Area Editor for Circular Economy at the Revista de Administração de Empresas (RAE), in addition to serving as reviewer for journals such as IJOPM, SCMIJ, JBL, BSE, and RAE.
 

She has also participated in academic and institutional boards and committees, including the BALAS Executive Committee as Brazilian Representative, the Superior Council for Innovation and Competitiveness (CONIC) of the Federação das Indústrias do Estado de São Paulo (FIESP), the Scientific Committee of the Colégio de Estudos Avançados da Universidade Federal do Ceará, and several national and international scientific initiatives.
Throughout her career, she has organized and led national and international academic conferences. She served as Chair of the BALAS Annual Conference in 2024, President of the Scientific Committee of the Simpósio de Administração da Produção, Logística e Operações Internacionais (SIMPOI) for two decades, Coordinator of ANPAD’s Operations and Logistics Management Division (2018–2020), and Leader of the Circular Economy Track in different national academic forums.
Her research interests focus on circular economy, sustainability, innovation, and resilience in supply chains and impact ecosystems.
