Regina Silvia Viotto Monteiro Pacheco

She holds a degree in Architecture and Urbanism from the University of São Paulo (1979), a Master's degree in Urbanism and Urban Development - Universite de Paris XII (1981) and a doctorate in Urban Development and Environment - Universite de Paris XII (1985). She has been a permanent staff member at the Getulio Vargas Foundation since 1988. She was president of the National School of Public Administration between 1995 and 2002. During the same period, she was the alternate representative of Brazil with CLAD. She was one of the creators of the CONSAD Public Management Congresses. She was the Executive Coordinator of the Greater ABC Intermunicipal Consortium (1990-1992). Her area of research encompasses Government and Public Management, with emphasis on the following topics: Reform of the State, relations between the public and private spheres, regulation, contracting of results in the public sector, public leaders. She is the Coordinator of the Professional Masters in Management and Public Policies of EAESP-FGV.
