Luciana Marques Vieira

PhD in Agricultural and Food Economics from the University of Reading, UK (2004). Visiting researcher at Brown University (USA) in 2010 and post-doctorate fellowship at the Institute of Development Studies (United Kingdom) in 2012-2013. She acts as ad hoc consultant for the coordination of Higher Education Personnel Improvement (CAPES) and was a member of the evaluation committee of the Administration, Tourism and Accounting area for the three-year periods 2007-2009, 2010-2012 and in the quadrennium 2013-2016. She has been benefited by a CNPq Level 2 Productivity Scholarship since 2009. Luciana is a consultant on projects of international organizations such as the European Union Trade Commission, the World Intellectual Property Organization, the World Trade Organization (both United Nations agencies) and the Food Foundation (UK). Currently, she is an adjunt Professor in the Industrial Operations and Production Administration Department (POI) of the FGV-EAESP acting in the masters and doctorate stricto sensu and in the Professional Master's degree in Supply Chain. Since 07/2017, she has been the editor of JOSCM scientific magazine. In the 2005-2016 period, she acted as NDP in the Unisinos Graduation Program in Administration. Luciana focuses on research in global value chains, relationships between buyers and suppliers and the internationalization of companies, especially in the agro-industrial sector.
