Jorge Cavalcanti Boucinhas Filho
He is a full professor in the course of Business Administration of the Getulio Vargas EAESP/FGV Foundation. He also teaches, as a guest teacher, several courses of specialization in São Paulo and other states. He coordinates postgraduation courses in labor law and labor process and in trade union law at the Superior School of Advocacy, an institution in which he was a member of the Board of Trustees as a representative of the teachers during the 2013-2015 triennium. He was a Professor at the University of Nantes, where he lectured at the Droit Comparé Seminar of Master 2 in March 2013, and gave classes on the Brazilian system of Health and Safety at Work in 2015. He was also a visiting professor at Trinity College Dublin, where he lectured on the Brazilian Legal System and the Brazilian Legal Profession, as part of the Clinical Legal Education Module, in September 2014. He graduated from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte and he is a specialist in Labor Law at the Potiguar University - UnP, master and doctor in Labor Law at the University of São Paulo - USP, post doctorate at Laboratoire de Droit et Changement Social, Université de Nantes, France. He wrote the works Discriminação por sobrequalificação (Overqualification breakdown) and Direito de Greve e Democracia (Law of Strike and Democracy) and, in co-authorship, the works Migração de Trabalhadores para o Brasil e O Novo Aviso Prévio: questões polêmicas suscitadas pela Lei n. 12.506/2011 (Migration of Workers to Brazil and The New Prior Notice: controversial issues raised by Act No. 12,506/2011). As the author of a few dozen articles published in national and international legal journals, he co-organized the books O Direito Material e Processual do Trabalho dos Novos Tempos: Estudos em homenagem ao professor Estêvão Mallet; Responsabilidade civil nas relações de trabalho: questões atuais e controvertidas; União Europeia e o Direito do Trabalho; Novos Dilemas do Trabalho, do Emprego e do Processo do Trabalho e Migração, Trabalho e Direitos Humanos (Material and Procedural Law of Labor of the New Times: Studies as a tribute to Professor Estêvão Mallet; Civil liability in labor relations: current and controversial issues; European Union and Labor Law; New Dilemmas of Labor, Employment and the Labor Process and Migration, Labor and Human Rights), all in a collective authorship. He wrote several chapters in other works of collective authorship and several entries for the dictionary of labor law, procedural labor law and social security law applied to labor law. He has presented several works in regional and national seminars and congresses. He is a member of the Brazilian Committee of Information and Documentation of the Brazilian Association of Technical Standards (ABNT) since May 2008. He has acted as a lecturer in several events. As a lawyer in São Paulo, he is a member of the Commissions of Trade Union Law and Business Law of the OAB/SP for the 2013-2015 triennium. He is a member of the Labor Relations Council (CERT) of FECOMERCIO, the Superior Council for Labor Relations (CORT) of the Federation of São Paulo Industries (FIESP) and the Labor Relations Council (CRT) of the Paraná Trade Association (ACP). He is the Chairman No. 21 in the Brazilian Academy of Labor Law.
