Isleide Arruda Fontenelle

She is a Full Professor at the Getulio Vargas Foundation - SP, in graduation and post-graduation courses, member of the Department of Social and Legal Foundations of Administration. Her research interests are related to social transformations and subjective impacts, with a special focus on issues related to consumer culture and behavioral phenomena of contemporary capitalism. She is the author of the book entitled "The Brand Name: McDonald's, Fetishism and Disposable Culture" - nominated for the Jabuti Prize in 2003 - and several articles and book chapters, having actively participated in national and international congresses. She graduated in Psychology, with a Master's degree in Sociology from the Federal University of Ceará (1993); doctorate in Sociology from the University of São Paulo (2000); Post-doctorate in Social Psychology from PUC-SP (2004); and "Visiting Fellow - Center for Theoretical Studies in the Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Essex - United Kingdom"; with Research Grant Abroad (Fapesp - 2010/2011).
