Barbara Bechler Flynn
She has a Magna Cum Laude degree with a specialization in psychology from the Ripon College, Wisconsin (1974), a master's degree in Operations Management and Economic Management from the Marquette University, Milwaukee, Wisconsin (1981), and a doctorate in Operations Management from Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana (1984). She is currently a Professor of Production Management at the Indiana University, Kelley School of Business and a professor at the Getulio Vargas Foundation - EAESP. She is the director of the Center for International Business and Research Education (CIBER), Indiana University, Kelley School of Business. She is experienced in the area of Administration, with emphasis on Production Administration, working mainly on the following topics: World Class Manufacturing, Quality Management, Just-in-time Production, Operations Strategy and Innovation Management. She is the Associate editor of Decision Sciences and in the Journal of Supply Chain Management, also being an area editor of Production and Operations Management.
