Professor at the Department of Production and Operations Management (POI) at FGV-EAESP and Researcher at the Center for Sustainability Studies (GVces). Between January/2012 and March/2018, he was Vice-Coordinator of the Graduate Program in Administration at FGV-EAESP. He holds a doctorate and master's degree in Business Administration from FGV-EAESP for the Socio-Environmental Management line, and holds a degree in Engineering from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing (FEEC) of the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP). His expertise fields are: (i) sustainability and value chains, (ii) sustainability and innovation, (iii) international trade and the environment; (iv) public policies for Sustainable Development and (v) economy and environment. Between 2001 and 2004, he was a project coordinator at the Amigos da Terra Amazônia Brasileira NGO. Between 1997 and 2000, he worked for Shell Brazil and Cargill Agrícola.
