Master's degree in Development, Agriculture, and Society from the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro, with a specialization in Protected Area Management. Holds a Bachelor's degree in Geography from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. Since 2003, has been active in the fields of nature conservation and traditional populations in the Amazon. Led Conservation Units in the Atlantic Forest and served as a consultant for social movements such as MIQCB and environmental organizations, including WWF, ISA, and UNDP. Currently, he is a member of the Local Development Program (DL) at the Center for Sustainability Studies (FGVces).
