She holds a degree in social sciences from the Faculty of Philosophy, Letters and Human Sciences at USP (2001), a master's degree in sociology from USP's Faculty of Philosophy and Humanities (2006) and a doctorate in sociology from USP's Faculty of Philosophy, Letters and Human Sciences (2011). She has experience in Sociology, Cultural Criticism and Philosophy, with emphasis on Contemporary Critical Theory, Sociological Theory and Sociology of Culture, working mainly in the following subjects: ideology, cultural industry, consumption, work and subjectivity. She is currently a professor of sociology at the Getulio Vargas Foundation (EAESP/FGV).
