Richard Saito

He holds a degree in Aeronautical Engineering from the Aeronautical Technological Institute, a Master's in Engineering (Production Engineering) from the University of São Paulo, a Master's degree in Engineering-Economic Systems - Stanford University and a doctorate in Engineering-Economic Systems - Stanford University. He is currently a full professor at the School of Business Administration in the Getulio Vargas Foundation, coordinator of the Finance Department of ANPAD, Associate Editor of the Journal of Business Administration (RAE) and editorial board of the Brazilian Journal of Finance. He is the Area Coordinator in the field of "Economy and Administration" at FAPESP. He was the President of the Brazilian Society of Finance, from August 2008 to July 2010. He has professional experience as an IFC officer for project financing, business management consultant at AT Kearney, and as an engineer at Promon. He works in the area of Financial Management researching topics related to corporate governance, corporate finance, financial engineering and risk management, IPO and bookbuilding, and project finance.
