CNPq scholarship student. Professor of the Department of Public Management at FGV EAESP. Chief Executive Officer of the Brazilian Forum of Public Security. He holds a degree in Social Sciences (1995), a master's degree (2000) and a doctorate in Sociology (2005) from the University of São Paulo. He also has post-doctorate studies at the Economics Institute of UNICAMP (2010). He is a Visiting Scholar at the Center for Latin American Studies at the University of Cambridge, England (2017-2018). He has developed numerous projects on violence, public security, transparency and public statistics.
