Mário Aquino Alves holds a degree in Public Administration from the Getulio Vargas Foundation - SP (1991), a law degree from the University of São Paulo (1996), a Master's degree in Business Administration from the Getulio Vargas Foundation - SP (1996) and a doctorate in Business Administration from the Getulio Vargas Foundation - SP (2002). He concluded post-doctorate studies at HEC Montréal. He is a Fellow in Productivity in Research 1D of CNPq. He is a member of the Center Collegiate for Studies in Public Administration and Government and the editor of the Public Citizenship and Management Agendas. He is the coordinator of the Masters and Doctorate Program in Public Administration and Government of FGV EAESP since March 2015. With a strong background in Organizational Studies, his research and master's degree and doctoral studies focus on the following topics: civil society (social movements , third sector, NGOs), corporate social responsibility (private social investment and political action of companies) and qualitative methods of research (discourse analysis and narrative analysis).
