Marcos Cintra Cavalcanti de Albuquerque

He holds a degree in economics from the Harvard College (1968), a master's degree in economics from the Harvard University in 1976, a master's degree in regional planning from the Harvard University in 1974 and a doctorate in economics from the Harvard University (1985). He is currently professor and vice-president of the Getulio Vargas Foundation, and President of the Studies and Projects Funder - FINEP. He was Planning Secretary of the Municipality of São Paulo, Secretary of Finances in the Municipality of São Bernardo do Campo, Secretary of Economic Development and Work in the Municipality of São Paulo and Subsecretary of Science, Technology and Innovation at the State of São Paulo. He was Councilor and Federal Deputy. He has experience in Economics, with emphasis on fiscal and tax policy in Brazil, working mainly on the following topics: single tax, economy, Brazilian economy, taxation and public finances.
