Marco Antonio Carvalho Teixeira

Master's degree in Social Sciences (1999) and doctorate in Social Sciences (2004) from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo. He is an associate professor and researcher at the Department of Public Management at the School of Business Administration of the Getulio Vargas Foundation of São Paulo (FGV EAESP), where he teaches in graduation courses in Public Administration and Business Administration, as well as in Master's and Doctorate courses in Public Administration and Government and, also, in the Professional Master in Management and Public Policies. He develops academic research and has been acting as a consultant to national and international organizations in topics such as: Transparency, Accountability and Control of public administration focusing on the role of control bodies and social control; intergovernmental cooperative arrangements, Brazilian politics and elections. He is the leader of the thematic group Federalism, Intergovernmental Relations and Decentralization, together with the Public Administration area of ENANPAD (2015-2016 biennium). He acts as a commentator on the CBNSP program, from CBN Radio, where he deals with issues related to the problems of the city of São Paulo and his public policies, and is one of the editors of the Blog entitled "Management, Politics & Society" elaborated by O Estado de S. Paulo.
