Marcelo Oliveira Coutinho de Lima

He is a doctor (2002) and a master's degree (1996) in Sociology from the University of São Paulo, with a degree in Social Communication from the same university (1987) and a degree in Business Administration from the Getulio Vargas Foundation (1986). He was a visiting researcher at Harvard University's International Technology Group (USA). He is currently the Coordinator of the Professional Master in Administration at FGV EAESP. He was the Global Director of Market Intelligence for Latin America at Terra/Telefonica, Executive Director and Director of Market Analysis at companies of the IBOPE Group, Research Director of Zoom Media Group (USA), Marketing Manager and Assistant Editor of Economics International in the State Group, Communication Advisor of the São Paulo City Hall and assistant researcher at CEBRAP. He is a well-known member of the Technical Committee of Media of the Executive Council of the Standard Norms (CENP) and Editorial Board of the Brazilian Association of Research Companies (ABEP). He has experience in Communication, with emphasis on Public Relations and Advertising, working mainly in the following subjects: Internet, Media Economics, Elections and Globalization.
