Luiz Carlos Di Serio

Luiz Carlos Di Serio is a Professor at the Getulio Vargas Foundation School of Business Administration in São Paulo, since 1992, in graduation and post-graduation programs. As an executive, he had a 22-year experience in the Management of Development and Deployment of Products, Processes, Quality, Computing and Industrial Automation, in the companies FMC do Brasil S/A (Foodtech) and Equipamentos Villares S/A. As a professor, he works in the academic Master's and doctorate Programs, in the MBA's, coordinates and teaches in GVpec and GVincompany. He develops management consulting activities. He graduated in Mechanical Engineering (UNESP), obtained a Master's degree from the Marquette University (Milwaukee, USA) and a doctorate in Production Engineering from the School of Engineering in São Carlos, at the University of São Paulo. He studied the impact of "Innovation in Competitiveness" in his Post-Doctorate, obtained at FGV-EAESP in 2007. He is the author and co-author of chapters and books. His published Books are Business Clusters in Brazil - Selected Cases (2005) and Strategy and Business Competitiveness (2008). He attends the main national (SIMPOI and EnANPAD) and International (POMS and EuROMA) forums in the area of Operations. He publishes articles in specialized magazines, seminars, national and international congresses in the area of administration. His research interests are Strategy and Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Product and Service Development Management, Competitiveness and Innovation. As an adjunct coordinator of the Innovation Forum since 07/2013. He is a member of the Academic Committee ICCB - Conscious Capitalism Institute Brazil and a Member of the Curriculum Board of the Harvard MOC/ISC Program.
