Doctor of Scientific and Technological Policy at the State University of Campinas (2001), including sandwich program in Development Studies at the Institute of Development Studies, University of Sussex, England (1999). Graduated and Masters in Production Engineering from the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo (1983 and 1991), with a specialization in Labor Relations (Harvard University, USA, 1998). Professor of the Post-graduation Program in Administration of the Municipal University of São Caetano do Sul (USCS) since 2002, focusing on issues related to economic development, production systems and public policies at the regional level. He is a Professor of the Department of Public Management at the Getulio Vargas Foundation (FGV) since 2017.
