Ianaira is a psychologist, having earned her degree from UFBA (Federal University of Bahia), complemented by a visiting academic period at the University of Granada (Spain). She holds a Ph.D. and a Master's in Business Administration from FGV EAESP, achieving distinctions in both endeavors and earning an honorable mention from the GV Research Award for her dissertation. Throughout her doctoral studies, she engaged in research as a visiting scholar at University College Dublin. In addition, Ianaira holds an MBA in Business Administration from FGV and a Specialization in Corporate Education from FIA-USP.
In her executive career, Ianaira has assumed roles such as HR Manager, Corporate Education, and Innovation Manager, predominantly in Brazil and Latin America, within organizations like Votorantim, Braskem, and KPMG. She has further enriched her professional portfolio as a Digital Product Manager and Design Researcher for Digital Products. Her consultancy experience have extended to engagement projects in Public Sector Management, collaborating with distinguished institutions such as Instituto República, Fundação Lemann, and Insper.
Ianaira's research is dedicated to the intersection of people management, organizations, and technology, covering areas such as people analytics, algorithmic management, and digital platform labor. She has disseminated her research findings at renowned national and international conferences, including Enanpad, EnEO, and EGOS. The outcomes of her research are being published in esteemed journals, such as Organizações & Sociedade (A2-rated journals - Qualis-Capes), and other reputable journals. Ianaira is an associate researcher at NEOP (Nucleus of Studies on Organizations and People) at FGV EAESP and associate researcher at DeepLab (Digital Economy and Extreme Politics Lab) at University College Dublin.
Lecturer at FGV EAESP, offering courses at both postgraduate and undergraduate levels, specifically focusing on Organizations and People Management in public and private organizations. Additionally, she is a postgraduate professor at USP ESALQ's MBAs. Ianaira also is consultant, specializing in people management and emerging work contexts.
