Fernando Burgos Pimentel dos Santos

Graduated in Public Administration from the School of Business Administration of São Paulo of the Getulio Vargas Foundation (FGV EAESP). Master and doctor of Public Administration and Government by the same institution. At FGV EAESP, he has been a professor in the Department of Public Management since 2013 and a researcher at the Center for Public Administration and Government Studies (CEAPG) since 2006. He was vice-Coordinator of the Graduation Program in Public Administration from February 2014 to June 2017. He is the current General Coordinator of CEAPG. He was a Researcher-Visitor at the Brazil Center of the University of Texas, in Austin (2007) and at the Institut de Govern e i Politiques Publiques (IGOP) at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (2011-2012) and a Visiting Scholar at the University of California, in Berkeley (2017-2018). He is a member of the Research Committee on Poverty, Social Welfare and Social Policy (RC 19) of the International Sociological Association (ISA), and of the American Evaluation Association (AEA). He is experienced in Public Administration, Social Policies, Public Policies in general, Inequality Reduction Policies, Local Development, Social Indicators and Cultural Policies.
