Edgard Elie Roger Barki

Graduated in Business Administration from the University of São Paulo, Masters and Doctorate in Business Administration from Fundação Getulio Vargas de São Paulo. Received an honorable mention from CAPES for his doctoral research being among the best theses in business administration of 2011.

Edgard Barki is the coordinator of FGV EAESP's Entrepreneurship Center (FGVcenn) and professor of FGV EAESP in the marketing department, as well as Visiting Professor at the University of Saint Gallen. He is currently an advisor for the Coca Cola Brazil Institute, Artemisia and Vivenda Program. Mainly acts in the following topics: social entrepreneurship, social business, base of the pyramid, retail and marketing strategies.

Barki is co-author of the second edition of the book "Retail in Brazil: Management and Strategy" (2014) and co-organizer of the books "Businesses with Social Impact in Brazil" (2013) and "Retail for Low Income" (2008).
