Antonio Carlos Teixeira Alvares

Professor of the São Paulo Business Administration School, from the Getulio Vargas Foundation - Department of Production and Industrial Operations, since 1974. He studied Mechanical Engineering at the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo (USP), having graduated in 1969 and completed his post-degree in Business Administration in 1973 at FGV/EAESP Member of the FGV Innovation Forum since its creation in 2000. He is the author of the articles Profit Sharing defined by Results (RAE, Oct-Dec 1999) and Fiscal Effects of Inflation in Analysis (RAE, Jan-Mar 2000), co-author of the book Gestão de Idéias para Inovação Contínua (Ideas Management for Continuous Innovation) (Artmed 2009), co-author of chapters: 2 - Innovations in Business Organizations, 3 - The Brasilata Case and 6 - Comparative Analysis between the two cases and final considerations, from the book Innovative Organizations: study and Brazilian cases. Director of FIESP - Federation of Industries of the State of São Paulo since 2007, where he is a member of the Department of Economic Studies (DEPECON) since 2004. Member of the Board of Directors of the Roberto Simonsen Institute since 2010, where he has also been a member of the Higher Council for Competitiveness and Innovation Technology (CONIC), since 2011. Member of the University Council of USP as a representative of FIESP since 2013.
