Visiting Researcher at the Institute for Business Innovation at the Haas School of Business at the University of California at Berkeley. Master in Administration with emphasis in Technology and Production Management by PPGA/UFRGS. Researcher at the Nucleus of Studies in Innovation (NITEC-UFRGS). Graduated in Business Administration from the School of Administration/UFRGS with sandwich graduation by Florida Atlantic University (2006). Director of the Silicon Valley Institute for Business Innovation. Researcher in the program Innovation Systems, Strategy and Policy (InSySPo), UNICAMP. Professor of Innovation and Strategy at the Getulio Vargas Foundation. He was professor of Strategy, Entrepreneurship and Innovation of Unisinos and in the School of Administration at UFRGS, in Process Management. He worked with consultancy in strategic management and operations in an optical company participating in the planning, implementation and training of Lean Manufacturing production systems. His areas of interest are Industrial Organization Dynamics, innovation ecosystems, knowledge-intensive entrepreneurship, strategic management of technology and innovation, technological training and operations management with an emphasis on lean manufacturing systems.
