Alvaro Escrivão Junior

He holds a medical degree from the São Paulo State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho (1975) - Faculty of Medicine of Botucatu, MS in Medicine - 1986 (Preventive Medicine) and doctorate in Medicine - 1999 (Preventive Medicine) by the Faculty of Medicine at the University of São Paulo. He is currently a professor in the Public Management Department of the School of Business Administration at the Getulio Vargas Foundation - SP and Adjunct Coordinator of the Center for Studies in Health Planning and Management - GVsaúde of EAESP. He was a Sanitary Doctor of the Government of the State of São Paulo, with Proahsa at Hospital das Clínicas, in the Medical School of USP. He is a physician from the Municipality of São Paulo, with a role in the RMSP Health Observatory. He has experience in Collective Health and Health Administration, with emphasis on Information and Indicators in Health and Management Epidemiology, working mainly on the following topics: health evaluation, health indicators, health services audit, epidemiology in health services, supplementary health and public-private relations in health. He is the coordinator of Abrasco's Technical Group on Health and Population Information-GTISP and a member of the Interagency Network of Health Information - RIPSA of OPAS/MS.
