Sandro Magalhaes Manteiga

He is a mechatronics engineer with a master’s degree in Econometrics from the University of São Paulo (USP). He holds a specialization in Business Administration (CEAG) and a doctorate in Entrepreneurship and Strategy from FGV EAESP. His doctoral dissertation, on competencies for organizational growth, was awarded the best dissertation of the Professional Doctorate Program in Business Administration at FGV EAESP in 2022. He completed executive programs in Strategy and Innovation at Columbia Business School (USA) and in General Management at INSEAD (France). He is a professor of Strategy, Innovation and Entrepreneurship in the undergraduate and graduate (MBA) programs at FGV EAESP. He has more than 10 years of experience as an executive in fintechs, during which he created or restructured operations, data science and corporate portfolio management areas. He took part in two IPOs (PagSeguro and Nubank) and worked on digital transformation projects as a consultant at Bain & Company. Besides teaching, he works as a facilitator of strategic discussions, mentor and advisor to companies.
