Frequently asked questions
Ask questions about the programs and areas of expertise.
How was the program for the Unified Vestibular built?
The syllabus for the Unified Entrance Exam was built on the EAESP and Rio de Janeiro school syllabuses. These programs are exactly the same in English, Geography and Current Affairs, but differ slightly in Mathematics, Portuguese and History. In Mathematics, the Rio de Janeiro syllabus was adopted, as it was more succinct and aligned with the Enem content matrix, but some bibliographical references from the EAESP syllabus were added. In History, the EAESP syllabus was adopted (the Rio de Janeiro syllabus does not include Ancient History, but as this topic is covered in the Enem exam, there is no reason to keep it out of the syllabus). In Portuguese Language (more specifically, Literature), the Rio de Janeiro syllabus was adopted, which does not include compulsory reading of works.
How does FGV stand out from the competition? We talk about FGV's tradition and past, but what do we have for now?
FGV EAESP has been a reference as a business school for over 60 years. It wouldn't be able to maintain this position if it didn't have a process of continuous innovation, whether in the insertion of new content or new teaching models.
Can I get an application fee waiver?
You may request an application fee waiver if you have completed or are completing high school (last 3 years) at a public school (municipal, state or federal) in Brazil, or if you have received a full scholarship (100% of tuition fees) at a private school in Brazil throughout high school. To this end, you must prove the above by emailing one of the documents specified in the selection process notice to the FGV University Entrance Exam Center at processoseletivo@fgv.br
Events
Participate in on-campus and online events, including webinars, lectures, and symposiums that address current and highly relevant topics for the job market and society.
