Frequency and timetables

The Professional Master's Degree in Management and Public Policies (MPGPP) has a total workload of 510 hours.

FGV's MPGPP classes are semi-presential.

Face-to-face meetings take place on Fridays and Saturdays.

On Fridays, in the evening, and on Saturdays, in the morning and afternoon.

Certification issued

Upon graduating from the MPGPP you will receive a Master's degree in Management and Public Policy.

The MPGPP offers two types of scholarship.

Scholarships

There are two types of scholarship available

a) Scholarship Financing, which consists of the use of resources from the FGV EAESP Scholarship Fund in a refundable form. It is possible to finance between 20 and 70% of the course fee. The student must start paying the amount financed to the School from the 30th month from the date of enrollment, regardless of the date of completion of the course. The student must pay off their debt in up to the same number of installments as were financed, i.e. one month's payment for each month of the course financed.

b) Non-refundable Economic Need Grant, which is awarded on the basis of an analysis of the successful applicant's financial situation. A percentage of up to 80% of the course fee may be awarded, subject to the availability of funds.

Discount

A discount of up to 10% of the course fee may be granted, subject to availability of funds. The discount will be analyzed after the selection process interview.

Refundable grants

The refundable scholarship is a benefit granted in the form of funding for tuition fees.

Refundable/Reimbursable: the refundable/reimbursable scholarship is a benefit granted in the form of financing of the tuition fee, upon analysis of an application submitted to the School's Scholarship Committee. The financial resources for the Refundable Scholarship come from the Getulio Vargas Foundation Scholarship Fund (Ordinance No. 17/2002).

The criteria for awarding the scholarship are based on an analysis of: family income (the lower the income, the higher the percentage approved); assets and liquidity, assessed in conjunction with income; academic record; financial availability each semester; number of applications and percentages requested.

Scholarships are renewed every six months according to certain criteria described in the detailed information contained in the Instructions for Applying for Scholarships.

For postgraduate students, repayment will begin six months after the scheduled completion date of the course, regardless of whether or not the course is completed.

The obligation to repay, as set out above, prevails even if the beneficiary drops out, withdraws or has the course terminated by jubilation, in accordance with the Course regulations, in which case the period of 90 (ninety) days begins to run from any of these events.

 

Social Demand Grant (non-refundable)

This type of grant is made available on the basis of socio-economic conditions. The grant is based on an analysis of the person's financial situation.

A non-refundable discount of up to 50% of the course fee may be granted, subject to the availability of funds.

Non-refundable scholarships

Social Demand/Non-Refundable: this type of scholarship is designed to broaden access to executive postgraduate studies for minority groups in society, whether for economic, racial or gender reasons, promoting diversity and inclusion in the student body of professional master's degree courses. The scholarships cover up to 50% of the course fee and must be applied for exclusively by students who have passed the MPGPP selection process.

The criteria for awarding the scholarship are based on socio-economic analysis and/or valuing diversity and inclusion in its multiple dimensions and intersections, considering race (black, brown or indigenous candidates); gender; sexuality (self-declared members of the LGBTQIAP+ community); people with disabilities.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate or postgraduate degree.
  • Have at least 3 years ' professional experience in public affairs, from the state, non-state or private public sector, depending on the line of research chosen.

Registration fee: R$ 100.00.

Curriculum analysis

The program's examining board will carry out a curriculum analysis to select the successful candidates.

If you pass the curriculum analysis, you will be called for an interview, which can take place in person or online.

General information

FGV EAESP offers those interested the opportunity to take isolated courses in the Professional Master's Program in Management and Public Policy.

Target audience: Professionals working in governments, non-state public organizations or in close interaction with the public sector.

Requirements: Hold a 3rd class honors degree

Subject Limit: Candidates can take up to 4 (four) subjects as a single student, equivalent to 8 (eight) credits. Check out the course schedule here .

Recognition of credits: Candidates who join the Professional Master's Program in Management and Public Policy at FGV/EAESP as regular students may request credit recognition for subjects taken as an individual student, provided that the rules and limits for credit recognition set out in the course rules are respected, up to 4 (four) subjects, 8 (eight) credits.

To participate, the interested party must, until the last day of registration:

c) Pay the registration fee of R$ 25.00 and;
d) Insert the documents below:

Important:
Your application does not guarantee your enrollment or the right to attend classes. Your enrollment in the course(s) will only be considered once you have passed the selection process for an independent student.
An independent student is one who is only enrolled in isolated subjects with no link to the Professional Master's Degree. Being accepted as an independent student does not guarantee admission to FGV EAESP's Professional Master's in Management and Public Policy. Those interested in attending the MPGPP in its entirety must apply to the specific selection process. If accepted, the candidate may request recognition of the credits of up to four subjects taken as an individual student.

Values

Investment: 3 (three) installments of R$ 1,000.00 per course or payment in cash. The first installment must be paid at the time of enrollment; the other installments are due on the 10th of each month.
When you join as a regular student, the value of the course taken as a one-off will not be deducted, but the credits will be recognized.
