The document presents windows of opportunity on six major fronts for Brazil to zero its net carbon emissions in 2050, in order to comply with its international commitments. Based on a literature review and interviews with experts and stakeholders, the study is part of the project Net Zero Political Economy: Exploring how to accelerate the just transformation to net zero emissions in China, Nigeria, India, Indonesia and Brazil, coordinated by Climate Strategies and funded by the Climate Works Foundation.
