The Business Administration School of São Paulo at Getulio Vargas Foundation (FGV-EAESP) invites applications for a full time tenure track position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor in any discipline for Business or Public Administration in the following departments:

Organization, People and Strategy
Finance, Accounting and Controllership
Social and Legal Sciences
Public Management
Information Technology and Quantitative Methods Applied to Administration
Marketing
Economics
Operations Management

Successful applicants will be expected to make a strong contribution to research, coordinate and teach undergraduate and graduate courses, supervise research students, and make a positive contribution to the reputation and administration of the school. This position will be based at the São Paulo Campus.

Getulio Vargas Foundation is a nonprofit organization focused on excellence and international projection. Created in 1944, its mission is to stimulate Brazil’s socioeconomic development. In 2016 the Getulio Vargas Foundation was appointed one of the best think tanks of the world, according to Global Go To Think Tanks by Pennsylvania University. FGV Business School in São Paulo, FGV-EAESP, was created in 1954 by joint efforts between the government and business community in Brazil, and with the cooperation of Michigan State University

In 2004 the school became the first Brazilian school to get the triple accreditation, AACSB, EFMD and AMBA, and owns a solid reputation in teaching and research. FGV-EAESP counts with approximately 2200 undergraduate students, 1600 graduate students, 250 faculty members, and 100 staff members. The school is located in São Paulo downtown area, providing cultural, educational and business opportunities for faculty and students. The main requirements for these positions are:

A well-articulated research agenda (academic research or applied research) and a track record of publications in high quality journals
Demonstrated academic knowledge in the discipline and a consistent evidence of ability to deliver high quality learning and teaching at undergraduate and graduate level
Excellent communication skills, with an ability to relate to and engage with other staff and students from all backgrounds
PhD in Business Administration, Public Administration or a closely-related discipline
Recognition (or potential of) as an authority in the discipline with a national and international reputation in research
Excellent ability to teach in English
