Commercial Management of Hospital Billing Workshop

The workshop aims to discuss concepts involving: price lists; account formation rules and practices; types of accounts; and process.

 Reflections on price lists include: CBHPM (AMB), Brasíndice, Simpro, SIGTAP and traded. The rules and practices of account formation include clinical and surgical procedures, daily, fees, medicines, materials, high cost and gases.

 Accounts covered include open accounts, plus package, partial, full, supplementary, and particular difference.

The processes include: training, concurrent audit, pre-analysis, local audit, shipping, conciliation, technical disallowance, administrative disallowance, disallowance, loss and reversal of postings.

 The workshop aims to promote discussion of concepts involving various tools, including: account control, disallowances and transfers. The approach includes the involvement of care areas to improve revenue and/or reduce disallowances. The activity also includes checklist tools and billing kits.
