Research line: Operations Management and Sustainability

This course aims to promote discussion and reflection on emerging themes in the study of sustainability and responsibility in Operations and Supply Chains. The course focuses on the theories that have been used to advance these themes, and seeks to instigate the development of new research questions. Specific research questions on Sustainability and Responsibility in Operations and Supply Chains are also addressed, such as eco-innovation, reducing food losses and waste, social and environmental upgrading in global value chains, responsible purchasing, compliance, among others.
