29º Semester FGVhealth Debates
28 Nov
2019
Choosing technologies that really suit patients' needs challenges any healthcare system because incorporating technological resources involves multiple interests, whether economic, from those who offer apparatus' for physical well-being, or healthcare, from those who have their own technological equipment or services of restoration of health.
The implementation of technology in health also presupposes knowledge about: the use of available apparatus; and the taking of action in accordance to medical ethics. In addition, technology in health practices encompasses economic and social issues that may arise related to healthcare. The implementation of technology in public and private sectors of health and its regulation for the benefit of the whole society will be at the center of the discussions of the FGVhealth Debates.
