The learning objective of this course is to enable participants to use quantitative methods in their research projects.

The course covers a wide range of topics involving quantitative research, including: modeling phenomena; defining hypotheses; statistical methods of data analysis; and concepts of big data analytics and data science. The methods most commonly used in quantitative research in the doctoral students' respective fields are covered. Interventionist approaches such as design of experiment and quasi-experiment are emphasized.
