The course will introduce students to the main concepts and analytical approaches to organizational management. The first part of the course will discuss the historical construction of the field of organizational analysis, considering its main schools and the concepts mobilized. The second part of the course will present some of the contemporary themes of organizational analysis in the field of public administration, encompassing the relationship between organizations and public policies; organizations and public institutions; organizations and policy implementation; organizational actors; autonomy and organizational isolation.
