During their existence, organizations invariably go through various crises. These can be more predictable crises, which are part of their life cycle - such as the "growing pains" suggested by Greiner's model - and less predictable crises of various kinds, with varying levels of severity. The latter can be triggered by countless internal and/or external factors. Today we see a context of growing corporate, global, economic, social and environmental instability, which tends to make these crises more and more frequent. The global crisis generated by COVID-19 is both an example of this type of external and unpredictable crisis, with profound consequences and implications for the present and future of organizations. At the same time, the adjustments and changes brought about by the crisis create opportunities and vectors for change so that we can think about new forms of management and business organization. This course takes the multiple facets of the adaptation of organizations to the context of COVID-19 as a basis for providing participants with references and repertoires to help them understand, deal with and take advantage of organizational crises and their impacts as opportunities to energize/reinvent the management of people and organizations.
