Seminar discusses antitrust policy in Latin America with MIT expert

The Center for Infrastructure Studies & Environmental Solutions of the Getulio Vargas Foundation ( FGVceisa ) will hold, on  June 25 , at  2:30 pm , the seminar  “ Antitrust  in Latin America” , which will feature the participation of political scientist  Ben Ross Schneider ,  Ford International Professor of Political Science  and director of the  MIT Chile Program , at the  Massachusetts Institute of Technology  (MIT). 

The objective of the event is to discuss the main challenges and perspectives of  competition defense policy in Latin America , also addressing the influence of regulatory frameworks, global trends and the role of antitrust authorities in the development of a more balanced competitive environment in the region. 

The meeting will also be attended by  Gesner Oliveira , coordinator of FGVceisa, and other invited experts. The lecture will be held  in person  at the headquarters of FGV EAESP, located at  Rua Dr. Plínio Barreto, 365 , in São Paulo.
