Mestrado Profissional em Finanças e Controladoria da FGV obtém Certificação Internacional Inédita nas Américas
Curso vai encurtar o caminho para a Certificação Internacional da ACCA
Course will shorten the path to ACCA International Certification
The Finance and Controllership area of the Professional Masters in Management for Competitiveness at the São Paulo School of Business Administration of Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV EAESP) has just received the ACCA accreditation (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants), an international certifier of finance and accounting executives. This accreditation is unprecedented in the Americas.
This means that, after having audited the contents and tests of the FGV course, ACCA recognized them as meeting their high standard of quality and demand, and exempted students from the course from having to take the equivalent certification tests. As a result, in addition to a master's degree from FGV EAESP, students in that master's degree will leave with intermediate ACCA certification and will be able to eliminate up to 9 of the 14 tests required to obtain the maximum ACCA certification.
International accreditation
One of the most recognized global certifiers in the field of finance and accounting, ACCA has 633,000 students and members in 181 countries, and its certification is demanded in the hiring of top executives in the area by multinational companies from the most diverse sectors, such as GE, Unilever, Coca -Cola, Google, IBM, Apple, Deloitte, PWC, HSBC and American Express. Consistent with its English origin, ACCA has a broad view of the area, covering both knowledge of financial reporting, auditing and corporate law, as well as finance, performance appraisal, tax strategy, ethics and corporate governance.
Passport to work in any country in the world
According to professor Edilene Santana Santos, coordinator of the master's degree, “ACCA certification is a passport to work in any country in the world. This is a unique competitive advantage for Brazilian professionals who aim for high-level positions in finance and controllership in large multinational and national companies in Brazil or abroad ”.
With ACCA, FGV EAESP adds yet another stamp, now professional, to its internationally prominent position already recognized by the triple global crown of leading business schools: AACSB, EFMD-Equis and AMBA.
