It generates and disseminates scientific knowledge focused on development strategies and macroeconomic policies, and is responsible for initiatives that contribute to the definition of a national development policy.

Mission
To support researchers in the production of articles, promote and host debates on major issues related to the development of countries, organize academic events, disseminate knowledge and encourage the creation of study and discussion groups.
Vision
To play a leading role in the debate and construction of development strategies for middle-income countries. To be a reference in the development and improvement of policies that help in the debate and in the process of building development strategies.
