The study "Biofuels and Decarbonization Credits in Brazil: An Analysis of the Legislative Process of Brazil's National Biofuel Policy ("RenovaBio")" analyses the forces at work, the roles played by different actors and how the issue of climate change was incorporated into the legislative process of the National Biofuel Policy, RenovaBio. Seeking to draw lessons and learnings for future sectoral and climate policies, the study is part of the SNAPFI project, which aims to develop studies to help implement the NDCs in Brazil, South Africa, India and Indonesia.
