Solidarity Cryptocurrency Pilot Project
The Solidarity Cryptocurrency Pilot Project, part of the Crypto Assets for Development (CA4D) project, aims to develop and test a pilot blockchain architecture to facilitate the operation of social currencies in Brazil through an open, transparent and secure platform. The project consists of the development of two modules:
- Mobile Application Module: Works as a digital wallet for the Solidarity Cryptocurrency, allowing users to store and carry out transactions.
- Social Accounting System: Provides a secure and transparent environment for stakeholders, including public authorities, community banks and donors, to monitor transactions.
The Solidarity Cryptocurrency operates on the Cryptum blockchain-as-a-service infrastructure, compatible with the Ethereum ecosystem.

Awards
At the 2023 meeting of the University Blockchain Research Initiative (UBRI), which took place on October 12 and 13 at Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU), Professor Eduardo Diniz (FGV EAESP) was the winner in the UBRI Impact category (Using Blockchain for Good), highlighting his work on research projects evaluating the role of solidarity cryptocurrencies in promoting financial inclusion.

- Módulo de Aplicativo Móvel: Funciona como uma carteira digital para a Criptomoeda Solidária, permitindo aos usuários armazenar e realizar transações.
- Sistema de Contabilidade Social: Proporciona um ambiente seguro e transparente para que partes interessadas, incluindo autoridades públicas, bancos comunitários e doadores, possam monitorar as transações.
A Criptomoeda Solidária opera sobre a infraestrutura Cryptum blockchain-as-a-service, compatível com o ecossistema Ethereum.
