The course presents conceptual and theoretical elements that contribute to the identification of gender inequalities and their intersection with other inequalities (racial, ethnic, class, territorial, age and disability-related) and contribute to the formulation, implementation and evaluation of public policies with a gender focus, from a transversal perspective. The course also presents the gender equity agenda and an overview of public policies aimed at reducing gender inequalities in Brazil and the neo-conservative reaction to such policies.
