The learning objective of this course is to enable participants to develop their thesis projects, defining the topic, scope and methods, and planning the development of the work.

Topics directly related to the development of the thesis project will be covered: (1) how to define areas and topics of interest; (2) how to find a supervisor and establish a productive working relationship; (3) how to establish and refine the scope of the project; (4) how to define the research question; (5) how to establish a solid theoretical basis; (6) how to locate the topic in the existing literature; (7) how to define and detail the research methodology; (8) how to plan the development of the dissertation; (9) how to perfect the writing of the project; and (10) how to present the project to the board and incorporate improvements.
