One of the reasons for the complexity of managing and evaluating a supply chain is the difficulty in defining the boundaries of the system to be measured and the possible lack of performance indicators that can reflect the performance of this chain in a systemic way.
In this context, the aim of this course is to present viable proposals for measuring the performance of a supply chain, while also presenting a set of possible indicators for evaluating the strategy of the chain as a whole.
It is based on the assumption that many organizations may not succeed in maximizing the potential of their supply chains because they have failed to develop the indicators or systems needed to integrate and maximize their efficiency.
Thus, the course aims to present ways of developing a Supply Chain Performance Evaluation model that makes it possible, in an explicit and structured way, to base the knowledge needed to innovatively promote the improvement of the current situation of the relevant aspects of the supply chain and the context in which it is inserted.
