The management of global supply chains is a relevant component in the training of supply chain managers, because it covers practically all the activities necessary for organizations operating in an international context to be able to produce their products or services. This training is also relevant even if the company operates in a local environment, it may end up developing relationships with other agents in the supply chain that may be transnational companies with global operations, such as suppliers and distributors.
This course aims to contribute to an understanding of the role of international operations management and its impact on the competitiveness of companies, examining the main challenges and related issues within the global context.
